Mihindu Keerthiratne's journey in architecture began early, driven by a passion for creativity and curiosity about the built environment. He founded MKA now known as MIKASO, an architectural firm known for its innovative and sustainable designs.
Under his leadership, MIKASO gained a reputation for excellence in eco-tourism and contemporary living solutions. Keerthiratne's career is marked by significant contributions to architecture and education, inspiring future architects as the Director of the City School of Architecture and as Chairman of the Architecture Registration Board. He is also the founder chairman of SAARCH.
He served as President of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects from 1991 to 1993 and again in 2000, promoting architectural excellence and sustainability. Keerthiratne's numerous awards reflect his lasting impact on the field, highlighting his visionary approach and dedication to architectural innovation and professional standards. His work continues to inspire architects and design enthusiasts worldwide.

A highly esteemed electrical engineer, renowned for his expertise and leadership in mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering. He earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Peradeniya in 1972.
Before joining MKA, he gained experience at SD & CC, the Milk Board, Brown & Co., and Qatar's Department of Electricity. In 1995, Wimalasena joined MKA now known as MIKASO, where his meticulous attention to detail and dedication earned him recognition. Promoted to Associate in 2000 and Director in 2004, he oversaw the M&E division with visionary leadership, propelling MIKASO to new heights. Throughout his career, Wimalasena has advanced engineering excellence, anticipating industry trends and driving MIKASO's sustained growth and success.

Prasanna Silva is a distinguished architect with a career spanning decade, marked by achievements in architecture, urban development, and academia. He joined Urban Development Authority (UDA) in 1982. Rising through the ranks, became the Director General from 2007 to 2010, overseeing major urban design projects and shaping development regulations.
Beyond his UDA role, Silva served as Head of School at the City School of Architecture and now holds a directorship there, influencing architectural education.
Joining MIKASO in 2017 as a director, Silva's strategic vision has bolstered the firm's growth and success. His contributions across architecture, urban planning, and education exemplify his dedication and leadership, shaping the future of the profession.

Rashmin is a highly respected young Architect known for his expertise in design and management. He was a star student during his university life, achieved many awards and recognised for his creativity. He earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Moratuwa in 2008 and joined Mikaso in 2009.
Over the years, he has contributed significantly to the firm’s growth by leading a variety of projects, from private residences to commercial buildings and hotels. His commitment to architectural excellence and ability to adapt for unique demands of each project have been instrumental to his success.
Beyond his professional skills, Rashmin is admired for his collaborative and independent work style, maintaining a positive attitude even under pressure. His charm and professionalism have earned him respect among colleagues and clients alike. Rashmin's vision continues to drive Mikaso towards greater creativity and success.

Surin’s contributions to Mikaso are truly remarkable. He is a humble and proactive senior architect with extensive technical knowledge, which proves invaluable in both design and execution.
His impressive ability to connect with clients and allied professionals sets him apart. Recognized by management for his leadership qualities, Surin has been leading the Mikaso team at Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort since 2016, coordinating with Balmond Studio in London and Colombo.
Surin’s mentorship to Junior Architects and the team is invaluable. He effectively handles challenging projects alongside local and international professionals and previously led the site office in Tangalle during the construction of the Anantara Peace Haven, a five-star international hotel chain.

Dilan serves as the Assistant Project Manager, heading the Mikaso team at Tri-Zen Apartments, a project by John Keells.
