Cinnamon Life Waterfront Development, led by the John Keells Group, is a transformative mixed-use project in Colombo, Sri Lanka. As the largest private sector investment in the country, it redefines urban living by integrating cultural heritage with modernity and sustainability.

The development features a 6-star hotel, residential apartments, a large retail center, office buildings, and extensive parking facilities, all forming a “city within a city.” Designed by the UK-based Balmond Studio, the project creates a cohesive architectural composition, blending multiple functional elements.

MIKASO redefines urban living by integrating cultural heritage with modernity and sustainability

Mikaso, as the local architect, has played a crucial role in adapting the project to the local context and climatic conditions. Mikaso has been responsible for preparing all necessary documentation, obtaining statutory clearances and approvals, and coordinating with an extensive project team to manage design reviews, material approvals, shop drawings, and site inspections.

The collaboration between Mikaso and Balmond Studio ensures that the project aligns with both international design standards and local requirements.
