Shaped in an “L” configuration, this high-density structure integrates spaces for interaction and collaboration, fostering a student-centric environment.
Accommodating approximately 1,500 students and 265 staff, the building includes tiered lecture halls, open workstations, departmental offices, and flexible social zones across a project area of 10,390 sqm on a 3,655 sqm site.
This facility establishes an architectural identity within the campus, emphasizing functionality and sustainability to support research and knowledge exchange
The form, influenced by site orientation and spatial connectivity, includes two service cores linked by a main corridor that defines the “L” shape, guiding students through dynamic “hot spots” of faculty life. Vertical zoning of the building was planned based on the usage and density, considering vertical transport and easy access. Lower ground is designed for parking and services, ground floor level as the level of entry; with a main lobby, large cafeteria, Open workstation and pods for the student activities, confidential zone managing exam etc.
First floor to Third floor are typical floors including 250 capacity and 300 capacity theater type lecture halls. Fourth Floor to Eighth Floor are dedicated for department offices with open office concept and separate room for head of department with conference room and space for nonacademic staff on each level. Ninth level is the roof top that includes the Lift Machine room and the water tanks.
